John Aldridge and David Fairclough stood on the Kop and admired him. And he was Fairclough’s main autograph target.
In Aldo’s opinion Hunt was the best striker Liverpool ever has had. «We all wanted to be Roger Hunt in the streets. We loved him. And we got to know him, we were in awe of the man.» It has been a hugely emotional week after the passing of Hunt. He was a God.
In this week’s podcast two of Liverpool’s fine strikers honour Sir Roger. We also look back at the Brentford match and they give us an insight in how to become more lethal goal scorers (with some advice to Salah and the boys), we also wrap up Porto and look ahead at Manchester City at home. Enjoy!
