John Barnes has spent 10 years writing the book The Uncomfortable Truth About Racism, and is sharing some of  the stories from his own life, including the conclusion from two old men at the Kop who said: “He is not as black as I thought,” when Barnes played really well in his debut match at Anfield for the Reds.
He also reflects on why we are all biased and how we can make the world a better place.
He also explains why we shouldn’t have player favourites as he, David Fairclough and host Ragnhild Lund Ansnes discuss the booing of Suarez in our post match talk on Atletico Madrid and we are looking ahead to the match against West Ham in form. And: will the Ballon d’Or go to Salah? Enjoy!
