Shame on you Paris

It was suppose to be one of the highlights of the year. Instead it became a true and very scary nightmare. Bruce Grobbelaar has lived through the bush war in Rhodesia and both the Heysel and Hillsborough tragedy, and going to Stade de France for the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid reminded him of all of those old traumas. Grobbelaar is furious about what the Liverpool fans had to go through before and after the final in Paris. Him, his wife Janne Hamre Karsen and Ragnhild Lund Ansnes (together with Ragnhild’s 16 year old son Elias) ended up in the unorganised trouble of getting in before the match and they also got right in the middle of the danger after the match with mobs storming them, Reds being robbed and tear-gassed as they peacefully tried to walk to the hotel by the stadium. – And it was the police who forced them into the trouble. Victory and the impossible

Join us in our celebration of the FA Cup win when Liverpool legend David Fairclough and LFC author Ragnhild Lund Ansnes welcome James Pearce from the Athletic and Margaret Pickavant (90), best known as Peggy, a dedicated Liverpool fan through 77 years.
We all went to the FA cup Final and what a sight it was when Liverpool coloured Wembley red. We look a head to Southampton and Wolves and talk about the almost impossible: Liverpool clinching the quadruple... What a dream script that would be, if Captain Fantastic finally win the league for the Reds - from the Villa sideline! Nothing is impossible, and no matter what - this has been some season. James Pearce sums up his favourite moments so far, and we have yet to go to Paris and play two more league matches.... Enjoy!  

Final Joy

Jürgen has extended the contract and is serving us three of possible three finals this season - as well as getting the Reds to incredible 3 finals in only 5 seasons in club football’s finest competition.

What a week! Both rivals parked in the shadows by the Reds in great form.
Liverpool legend David Fairclough, Dan Storey and Ragnhild Lund Ansnes on the Merseyside Derby, on LFC ripping Manchester United apart and looking ahead to Villarreal and Newcastle United. The relegation threat of Everton is also on the table as well as Thiago and Diaz’ brilliance. Enjoy!

Ian Callaghan 80 years

Join us celebrating one of Liverpool FC’s greatest servants of all time as he turns 80 years on Sunday April 10.: Ian Callaghan played incredible 857 matches over 18 years for LFC’s first team, an achievement no one will ever be able to repeat for the Reds. This Gentleman helped get Liverpool up in the first division, he won the league 5 times, he is the latest World Cup champion for England, he also secured Liverpool’s first FA-Cup win AND the Reds first European Cup triumph –and those two achievements were 12 years apart! Cally will take us back to his childhood in the 1940s and 1950s in Toxteth, to Penny Lane and Liverpool School boys, he will tell us what Bill Shankly did to be so successful and special, he will talk about his only (!) booking in 18 years and he will reveal his secret to being so fit, young and healthy. The Cally Special podcast is also with former team mate David Fairclough and LFC Author Ragnhild Lund Ansnes.

The legend above most legends, Ian Callaghan, is David Fairclough's and Ragnhild Lund Ansnes’ guest this week as they sum up the strong result of Benfica away and look at the not so clinical Watford home.
